Elevate Education with Innovative Teaching:
A Collaborative and Engaging Approach Using STS Tools

For years, we have successfully incorporated the STS PMP® exam question simulator, X-AM, into our PMP® Certification Preparation course. This tool not only helps certification candidates prepare more effectively for the exam by reviewing hundreds of questions and practicing incorrect answers but has undoubtedly increased the satisfaction of our students by significantly improving their chances of success in passing the PMP® certification exam. The flexibility of individual access through an online Learning Management System allows students to tailor their study process to their own pace and needs.

At the Université du Québec à Montréal, we have used SimulTrain in my "initiation and planning course" for graduate level in project management. The experience was excellent. The students show a high level of enthusiasm, and they enjoyed using the dynamic environment to test some of the main concepts that they have learnt during the class. We also did a little competition among student groups, which made the learning experience fun and exciting. All in all, I believe SimulTrain is a great tool to reinforce project management learning experience in both academic and practical domains.

The CAS in Business Administration at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts is aimed at specialists and leaders who want to learn the basics of business administration and management. The very different prior knowledge of the participants is a challenge for the successful implementation of the seminar for in-depth project management. With the online course “Predictive Fundamentals & Agile Essentials”, learners prepare individually for the face-to-face seminars in advance. This ensures that we start with a comparable level of theoretical knowledge. The online learning tool from STS has proven its worth in significantly increasing project understanding and the quality of the project reports required for completion.

Convinced from the outset and through the collaboration of Michel Crampes, researcher at the Institut Mines Télécom Alès, and STS Rolland Sauter, founder of STS, of the benefits of ludopedagogy, the École des Mines integrates the SIMULTRAIN simulator into its programs to cover the field of project management. The realism of this 'serious game' allows students to anticipate and confront the realities of their future managerial roles, while enabling instructors to impart high-value methods and teachings in a playful and participatory learning environment. Consistently well-rated by students, this module holds an essential place in their curriculum.
