SimulTrain®
SimulTrain®
SimulTrain® is a multimedia project management simulation which allows the trainees to experience – within a few hours – typical situations and challenges encountered in most projects.
Various multimedia-driven interactions create a stressful but realistic project environment
An opportunity for practicing (not only planning) and execute a project
Integrated feedbacks allow learning from their own mistakes
Simultrain integrates all factors of project management, including the human factor
For years, we have successfully integrated SimulTrain® by STS into our Master's in Project Management program. This dynamic and versatile tool, as an online project management simulator, transforms the learning experience with its realistic and fast-paced environment for acquiring essential competencies. By immersing participants in the role of a project manager, it actively fosters teamwork and leadership skills. The effectiveness of SimulTrain® is evident in exposing students to real-world projects, enabling decision-making under pressure, and facilitating impactful reviews—all without career implications. Undoubtedly, it has contributed to improving our learning methodology and increasing our students' satisfaction

At the Université du Québec à Montréal, we have used SimulTrain in my "initiation and planning course" for graduate level in project management. The experience was excellent. The students show a high level of enthusiasm, and they enjoyed using the dynamic environment to test some of the main concepts that they have learnt during the class. We also did a little competition among student groups, which made the learning experience fun and exciting. All in all, I believe SimulTrain is a great tool to reinforce project management learning experience in both academic and practical domains.
